Kangana made her directorial debut with ‘Manikarnika’. She recently announced the second instalment title ‘Manikarnika Returns: The Legend of Didda’.

Kangana and her team are planning to spin it into a world class franchise on real-life women heroes and the second film in the franchise is promised to be bigger. On January 25, the first instalment of the film clocked in two years of release, and Kangana said she would love to direct despite her hectic schedule unless she gets someone better to do the job.

Kangana said, ‘I had told Anand ji that it is everybody’s efforts from the smallest person to the biggest so try and stick to the same crew. I will apply the same rule when it comes to my film.’

When Kangana was asked if she will wear the director’s hat again she said, ‘I have delivered an Rs 100 crore film as a director with ‘Manikarnika’. So I will try and keep myself as the director unless I find someone better than me for this job.’ The film will go on the floor next year.
