On Monday, fresh posters for the Zwigato film, which was directed by Nandita Das, were released in advance of the release of the trailer. This happened not long after the film's producers sent out an invitation to the media for the presentation of the trailer, which was set for Wednesday, March 1, 2023. The principal actors Kapil Sharma and Shahana Goswami published their character-revealing posters on their respective social media platforms. Shahana portrays Pratima, Manas' wife, while Kapil Sharma plays the role of Manas, a food delivery agent. Together with the posters, the filmmakers said that the movie's trailer would debut on March 1 and that it will open in theatres on March 17.

However, many of his delighted fans also took to the comment section to praise the comedian's previously unseen appearance. Other people also commented how happy they were to see Kapil Sharma on the big screen again after a five-year absence.

Zwigato, which is being directed by Nandita Das and is being released by Applause Entertainment, tells the tale of a food delivery agent who struggles to provide for his family after losing his job due to the epidemic. The main theme of the movie is the challenges that middle-class families encounter daily, particularly during the pandemic.

Significantly, several international film festivals, including the Kerala International Film Festival, the Busan International Film Festival, and the Toronto International Film Festival, have previously hosted the world premiere of the movie.
