KL Rahul Reveals That Athiya Shetty Is Superstitious!!

According to KL Rahul, Athiya Shetty assists him in keeping his composure, which enhances his performance on the pitch. The couple tied the knot in January 2023.

Actress Athiya Shetty made the decision to enter Bollywood with the film Hero, following in her father's footsteps. In a personal capacity, she wed cricket player KL Rahul in January of this year, and the couple has been content ever since.

KL Rahul recently disclosed how he invited Athiya to the stadium to see him play in the 2023 World Cup. She insisted on staying home to watch the entire game, though. He also talked about the day when he saw an IPL player suffer a thigh injury and how Athiya Shetty "was more frustrated and angry than" him.

This year's World Cup 2023 final match took place in India, and it generated a lot of national excitement. KL Rahul recently disclosed that he invited the Hero actress to the stadium to see him play because of this. She did, however, insist on remaining home and watching the game on television because, like her father Suniel Shetty, who had previously stated that he watched the play while sitting on the floor, she is "superstitious" and believes she has a lucky spot at home.

He clarified the situation by saying, "She has a lucky spot at home," to Star Sports. She wishes to sit there, then. You are aware of the luckiest places and seats that partners can have. Their desire is to observe it while seated. When I bat, she won't move. When I play, she follows some superstitions.
He went on to discuss his relationship with her, saying that she helps him maintain a healthy state of mind, which is necessary for him to perform well. The cricket player said, "Athiya pushes him to push his boundaries and put in more effort."

KL Rahul had to have surgery earlier this year to treat a thigh ailment, which required him to miss a significant amount of cricket matches. Rahul recalled the incident, saying that Athiya was terrified to watch him suffer, thus she was more irritated than he was.

KL Rahul described the period as "tough," saying, "She was more frustrated and angry than I was." Since it was the first time she had witnessed me go through something similar, I found myself attempting to keep her calm. Although it was difficult for us both, it also provided us with much-needed time spent together. She showered me with affection.
