Lyca's New Arrangement with S. Shankar

LYCA PRODUCTIONS and S SHANKAR have mutually reached an agreement regarding production of INDIAN 2 which will push his upcoming films - RC15 with RAMCHARAN and KIARA ADVANI as well as his film with RANVEER SINGH by couple of months. RC 15 is said to have been pushed by minimum 4 -6 months and RANVEER SINGH's film is now scheduled to go on floors by not before end of 2022.
As per new agreement, S SHANKAR has to return to complete shooting of INDIAN 2 by mid-December and complete the remaining 100 days of shooting with KAMAL HAASAN and others. LYCA PRODUCTIONS has locked a DIWALI 2022 Release for INDIAN 2 and S SHANKAR can only resume working on RC15 post completing the post-production work on the film leading to the final cut being handed over to LYCA PRODCTIONS.
S SHANKAR's initial plan was to wrap up RC 15 by this year and start RANVEER SINGH's film by mid 2022, but this agreement has pushed both films ahead by couple of months. INDIAN 2 was stuck for more than 2 years owing to accidental death of a crew member on the set, COVID 19, budget overrun and legal disputes related to committment of various artists working on the film. But, both parties have reached an agreement and are now moving ahead to complete the KAMAL HAASAN starrer political action drama.
