Malaika Arora-Arjun Kapoor are Called Maa-Beta but Alia-Ranbir is Okay? Why the Double Standards?

Malaika and Arbaaz Khan got divorced a few years back and then she started dating Arjun Kapoor, son of Boney Kapoor. The both look good together and most importantly happy. Similarly, the love story of Alia and Ranbir Kapoor started a few days back. 

We all know how the socirty judges the love affairs of the celebs. The same happens for Malaika and Arjun. People often tag them as Maa and Beta whereas they find Ranbir and Alia cute. Why so? Just because Malaika is divorced. As the age gap between Arjun and Malaika is almost same as that of Alia and Ranbir. 

Malaika was married to Arbaz for 19 years and they continue to co-parent their 18 year old son. Just because a woman is a mother and a divorcee that doesn't has to be the reason for her being called the mother of the person she dates next. If Alia and Ranbir can be accepted by the society as young couple the door must also be open for all such couples who have age gaps. 

Alia-Ranbir and Malaika-Arjun have been dating for almost same the same time. Both the couples are adorable, happy and share a great chemistry.
