Review

As a premise – a show which deals with a man & the wife complaining about each other is relatively fool proof. Not only does it give the writers ample scope for humor, it also makes the story very relateable. We could totally relate to the issues the Malhotras face. Thankfully the comedy too is spot on. While the show does start off on a slow note in the first episode, by the time we were into the second episode we were totally into the show. The supporting cast is decent. Denzil Smith as Dr. Gulfam Rastogi is superb. His blank expressions & complete befuddlement at the Malhotras quirkiness is the icing on the proverbial cake. But it the two protagonists – Mini Mathur & Cyrus Sahukar(seen after a long time) who are the soul of the show. Their comic timing & ability to make us laugh without any OTT expressions & with a poker face is brilliant.
Although we did feel that one or two episodes were not up to the mark. The show seems to be inspired from The Modern family. But the show manages to achieve what it aimed for – a breezy family entertainer which will make you laugh & be your source of happiness over the weekend.
