Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan, Kollywood's power couple, attended the CSK versus MI (Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians) IPL match in Chennai. They were the centre of attention when they were spotted at Chepauk Stadium. They can be seen smiling and laughing as they watch Thala Dhoni in the stadium. Several photographs of the newlyweds taken from the podium have gone popular on the internet.
Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan were all smiles as people snapped photos of them entering the stadium. While the director was dressed in a CSK jersey, the Lady Superstar kept it simple in a white tee. Anirudh Ravichandren, a close friend and music composer, accompanied the newlyweds. The Chennai Super Kings' official Twitter page also uploaded a photo of the trio from the game with the caption, "Whistle podu, Naangalum #Superfans Dhaan!."
The CSK match was once again a star-studded affair, with numerous Kollywood celebrities in attendance. Dhanush, Chief Minister Stalin, Nivetha Pethuraj, and others were also present. Several photos of the match's celebrities have gone viral on social media.

This season is said to be Mahendra Singh Dhoni's final as CSK captain, therefore his fans are soaking up every moment of the cricketer at the stadium. In fact, multiple rumours have circulated since this morning that Thalapathy Vijay will attend today's CSK match in Chennai. Nothing, however, has been confirmed. It's only a matter of waiting and seeing if he shows up to the stadium. For the uninitiated, Vijay and Dhoni have a very close relationship because they are known as 'Thala'.

Nayanthara is now working on her Hindi debut film Jawan, directed by Atlee, in which she co-stars with Shah Rukh Khan. The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Yogi Babu, and Sunil Grover, with music by Anirudh Ravichander. The picture was supposed to be released in June, however it was delayed. The film will now be released on September 7.
The actress has already begun filming her next film, tentatively titled Lady Superstar 75, with director Nilesh Krishnaa. In addition to Nayanthara, the film's cast includes Jai, Sathyaraj, KS Ravikumar, Achyuth Kumar, Redin Kingsley, Kumari Sachu, Karthik Kumar, Renuka, Suresh Chakravarthy, and Poornima Ravi. The film's music is composed by S Thaman. More information is likely to be released soon.
