Netflix Nixes Baahubali Project & Writes Off 150cr

Apparently, NETFLIX already spent 100 Crores in their first shoot which had Mrunal Thakur, Rahul Bose and Atul Kulkarni in the show which was being directed by Deva Katta (Prasthanam). Netflix didnt like what was being shot and fired all of them (Director and Producer) and Mrunal walked out of the show.
Then, they brought Bombay Fables (Serious Men) to handle the production and signed Ribhu Dasgupta and Kunal Deshmukh to direct the magnum opus. Wamiqa Gabbi and Nayanthara came on board for the show as well. During completion of pre production, Netflix was being asked for a budget of around 200 Cr including the pre production cost and the platform developed COLD FEET.
As a result, NETFLIX have shut the show down and have decided to write off the entire cost of 150 CRORES incurred till date and have allowed Anand Neelakantan to shop the script around.
