P.I Meena - Review 

P.I Meena is a recent series available on Amazon Prime Videos. The show stars Tanya Maniktala (Meena), Parambrata Chatterjee (Subho), Jisshu Sengupta (Dr Rakshaw), Samir Soni, Vinay Pathak (Dr Basu), Zarina Wahab, Saurav Das, Sawon Chakraborty and more. It is an investing series with a lot of suspense and drama. It has been directed by Debaloy Bhattacharya. 

The story is of a young girl, Meena who is a private investigator in a firm. She doesn't like her job as it involves digging into people's personal lives. The main plot begins when she witnesses an accident of a young boy, Partho. She is already afraid of accidents and deaths as she had lost her parents in an accident and her brother is also in coma because of it. Later, she gets to know that Partho's death was not an accident. There is a lot going on throughout the series. The young boy was involved in the selling of a virus which had been harming people in a small hill station near West Bengal. The intelligence is also in the scene, getting to the end of the story. As she begins investing the case, she finds a lot of secrets and people with covers on their face. Ultimately, it was discovered at Partho did wrong for the country but there was someone who had all this planned. 

There are a lot of twists and turns in the story with a lot of suspense till the end. Overall, it is a good series to binge watch but I am highly disappointed with the ending. There was no closure of what just happened. The makers would have wrapped the story for once and then would have come with the second season. I would rate it a 3.8/5.
