Ponniyin Selvan, the first installment of renowned director Mani Ratnam's magnum opus, became one of the biggest box office blockbusters and ruled the hearts of moviegoers. PS1 wowed reviewers as well as fans with its dazzling Chola Dynasty storyline, incredibly spectacular star cast, and larger-than-life cinematography and writing. The PS 2 trailer is now available.
The first installment checked all the boxes for a blockbuster and finished with a plot that seemed like a cliffhanger, leaving fans eager to see the second installment. Because of the excitement of the fans, the film's creators released the long-awaited trailer for the cinematic grandeur, PS2.
The Ponniyin Selvan 2 trailer and audio debut took place at an event in Chennai, in the presence of a highly accomplished star cast as well as prominent people from the industry and the media. The masses are waiting with bated breath to see Mani Ratnam's brilliance on the big screen once more.

Ponniyin Selvan 2 is presented by Subaskaran's Lyca Productions. Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions co-produced the film, which was directed by Mani Ratnam and included music by AR Rahman. PS-2 is set to be released worldwide on April 28, 2023, in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
