Radhika Merchant Called Shah Rukh Khan 'Uncle'!!!

During their pre-wedding celebrations, Radhika Merchant dedicated a line from Om Shanti Om, starring Shah Rukh Khan, to Anant Ambani.
 
Recently, Shah Rukh Khan hosted one of the pre-wedding gatherings for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant and attended the others. Shah Rukh Khan conversed with Anant and Radhika during the ceremony, listening to them remark about how much they loved one another. Radhika is seen conversing with Shah Rukh, whom she refers to as "uncle" on stage, in a video that has gone viral on the internet.

 

"Shah Rukh uncle," Radhika says at the start of the video. "Because you are here, aaj aapki film ka ek dialogue bol deti hun," she continues. "Agar Akshay hota toh Akshay Kumar ki film ka bolti," quips Shah Rukh after that. "Akki aise hi pyaar se bol raha hu," he continues.

 

"Jitni shiddat se maine tumhe paane ki koshish ki hai, ki har zarre ne mujhe tumse milaane ki koshi ki hai," Radhika continues, delivering one of SRK's most famous lines. Shah Rukh joins in the applause for the newlyweds and begins the chant, "Hug hug!" Anant leans in to give Radhika a hug, but she appears a little uncomfortable, so Anant gives her a cheek kiss instead.

 

The three-day pre-wedding extravaganza of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant unfolded in Jamnagar, Gujarat, showcasing a blend of glamour, entertainment, and grandeur. The festivities commenced with a spectacular performance by renowned pop sensation Rihanna, marking her long-awaited return to live performances after a hiatus of over seven years. The following day witnessed stellar performances by Bollywood icons Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan, alongside a captivating act by Diljit Dosanjh. The final day of celebrations culminated with an electrifying performance by Sukhbir, who shared the stage with international sensation Akon, adding to the star-studded allure of the event.

 

In a previous interview with Vogue, Radhika stated that they choose Jamnagar as the location because they feel a strong emotional connection to the city and consider it to be their "karma bhoomi." Additionally, Anant's grandmother Kokilaben was born there. She further revealed that in barely three months, Nita Ambani and designer Manish Malhotra had arranged the three-day celebrations.
