Ranbir Kapoor Opens Up About Boycott Bollywood Trend, Know What He Said

 

Ranbir Kapoor is currently busy promoting his upcoming movie "Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkaar".He shares the screen with Shraddha Kapoor in this movie. In one of the promotional events, Ranbir Kapoor spoke about the Boycott Bollywood trend.

The Brahmastra actor claimed that this tendency is unfounded. Ranbir Kapoor said he can not comprehend this boycott culture because no one is engaging in any wrongdoing. Films are produced for enjoyment so that viewers can unwind and forget about their problems. He argued that movies aren't meant to save the world. 

He said, "I didn't understand this whole boycott thing because nobody is doing anything wrong, everybody is trying to be the best version of themselves and provide entertainment, that's what we are here for and nothing else."

In addition, Ranbir mentioned his daughter, Raha Kapoor, referring to her as his "inspiration". He claimed that he has always thought that inspiration is a luxury that is hard to come by. He added that he had spent the longest period of his life searching for inspiration. 

He added, "We got blessed by our inspiration, me and Alia, we had a baby girl and her name is Raha. She is going to be four months old soon. I don't think I will ever get an inspiration as big as her."

In Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar the pair worked together for the first time. The crowd has responded well to the trailer and the songs, and they are now impatiently awaiting to witness Ranbir and Shraddha's enchanted chemistry on the big screen.

Boney Kapoor, Anubhav Singh Bassi, and Dimple Kapadia also had significant parts in this most awaited film. It was directed by Luv Ranjan and will debut on March 8.
