She did, however, thank them for not giving in to those kinds of pressures.

Actresses were body-shamed, according to Raveena Tandon.
The actress talked about how the media industry has phrases like "Amazonian body frame" and "thunder thighs" to disparagingly refer to heroines. While the film industry provided her with chances, Raveena emphasised that body-shaming of herself and other actors was caused by the media.

"I'll be very honest, there was a lot of body-shaming, and it wasn't from the industry," she recalled. People want to point the finger at the film industry, yet it was the industry that provided opportunities for me. We were being body-shamed by the media.”

According to the actress, you have to believe in yourself before you can convince other people to believe in you. The actress claimed that what kept her going every time was her inner strength. She continued by stating her conviction that no one should be harmed or have their career interfered with. She believes that her hard work will benefit her until her conscience is clear and her heart is "clean."
