Salman Khan House Firing Case: Mumbai Police applies strict MCOCA on suspects after releasing lookout circular

The two detained gunmen, Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta, as well as the two suspected arms suppliers, Sonu Subhash Chander and Anuj Thapan, have now been charged by the Mumbai police under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA), according to ANI. The police informed the agency that "all accused have been booked under Sections 3(1)(2), 3(1)(3), and 3(1)(4) of MCOCA." Following the reported Facebook post by Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of incarcerated mobster Lawrence Bishnoi, claiming responsibility for the shooting, the investigating team also issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against Anmol. Furthermore, they have designated Lawrence Bishnoi as the primary accused in this case after obtaining substantial evidence.

 

Following the capture of the gunmen and their supply, the police also discovered a rifle and live ammunition dumped in Gujarat's Tapi River. Vicky's tracks were also seen when they attempted to escape from Mumbai to Bhuj, Gujarat. Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta were also questioned by Delhi crime branch authorities for about three hours about the matter, and their custody was prolonged from April 25 to April 29. However, as reported by ANI, the Mumbai Esplanade Court has detained both gun suppliers until April 30 and has placed them under the custody of the Mumbai Crime Branch.
