Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar reunite for Anubhav Sinha's Bheed following the success of Bhadhaai Do. The director, who is renowned for shedding light on socially significant topics, is back with a new post on Article 15 and Thappad. The 2020 India lockdown serves as the backdrop for the film Bheed.

Release Date for Bheed
Bheed, starring Rajkumar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar, now has a release date. Anubhav Sinha shared a frame from the filming location on Instagram on Wednesday with the caption, "Presenting #BHEED a social drama, shedding light on the dichotomy and complexities through the hardest times our country faced! released in theatres on March 24, 2023. The same post was also shared by Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar on their Instagram accounts.

 

Rajkummar Rao can be seen in the photo wearing a police uniform, and Bhumi Pednekar can be seen chatting with the director about the script.

When discussing the movie, Sinha stated that "Bheed is a story that sheds light on the social disparity that the country faced in its most trying times. It was essential that I share this story with the audience and give it life.

Pankaj Kapoor, Dia Mirza, and Ashutosh Rana all play significant roles in Bheed. Anubhav Sinha is the director, and Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Anubhav Sinha's Benaras Mediaworks produced it together.

Rajkumar Rao most recently appeared in the Netflix original "Monica, O My Darling," which generated buzz among moviegoers. He also has Janhvi Kapoor and Mr. and Mrs. Mahi.
