Revenge Of Others Season 1 Ending Explained

Twisted Deception Unveiled: The Culprit Exposed in 'Revenge of Others' as Students Rally Behind Hero

In "Revenge of Others," Chan Mi investigates her brother's supposed suicide and suspects foul play. Initially, suspicion falls on Ji Soo Heon and Gi Osung for the murder of Park Won Seok. However, Chan Mi overhears Osung confessing to Jae Bom that it was actually Won Seok who tried to kill him by pushing him off a building. Shocked by this revelation, Chan Mi returns to Busan, only to discover old pictures proving that Won Seok was with her on the day of Jae Bom's accident.

Upon returning to Seoul, Chan Mi shows Soo Heon and Jae Bom the photographic evidence. Jae Bom is taken aback, realizing that Osung had lied to him, and doubts everything Osung had told him. Chan Mi and Soo Heon head home together, but Soo Heon is abducted by Jung Kyung's gangster cousins. Chan Mi witnesses the abduction but is warned by Jung Kyung not to involve the police or Soo Heon will be killed. Instead, she calls Jae Bom for help.

Meanwhile, Soo Heon is taken to a warehouse where Jung Kyung's cousin beats him and reveals that Osung plans to kill him the next day. Jae Bom's men, who have been searching for Soo Heon, arrive just in time to stop the beating. Jae Bom himself arrives and confronts Osung, acting differently than usual and making mistakes like signing a document with the wrong name. Suspicion of Jae Bom grows when Soo Heon witnesses him stealing his phone.

To gather evidence against Jae Bom, Soo Heon plans a scheme and catches Jae Bom in possession of Won Seok's phone. However, before Soo Heon can confront him, Osung attacks him, leaving Soo Heon unconscious. Soo Heon later informs Chan Mi that Jae Bom has the murder weapon, but he believes that the person who hit him is Jae Bom's accomplice. They report the events to the detectives and discover that Jae Bom is missing. Detective Hyun reviews CCTV footage from Yongtan Park, where both Osung and Jae Bom were present when Chan Mi received a call from Won Seok's phone.

Chan Mi meets Osung and apologizes for accusing him of murder, but he denies involvement. Chan Mi reveals she has evidence against him and calls detective Jin to inform her that Osung was with Jae Bom at the horse stable. Despite attempts to track Osung, he remains elusive. However, Su Yeon, who dropped out of school, spots Jae Bom on a yacht.

Chan Mi confronts Jae Bom, who admits to killing Won Seok and recently regained memories of the act. His alter ego, Jae Joon, emerges and attacks Chan Mi. She pleads for Jae Joon to leave Jae Bom alone, emphasizing that Jae Bom is a good person. Eventually, Jae Bom regains control and attempts to commit suicide, but Chan Mi intervenes. The detectives arrive and arrest Won Seok's murderer.

Osung remains unsatisfied and takes Ji Hyun hostage on the school terrace. He forces Soo Heon to kneel and apologize, threatening Ji Hyun's life. In the ensuing struggle, Osung loses his balance and falls from the terrace, witnessed by students, including Soo Heon.

‘Revenge Of Others’ Ending Explained

The news of Jae Bom's arrest for murdering Won Seok and Osung's manipulation spreads among the students. Minha, upon hearing the news, broadcasts a message revealing that Soo Heon is the hero who fought off her rapist, urging everyone to support him. The message quickly goes viral, leading to widespread condemnation of Osung and his actions. The students collectively decide to lie during the detectives' interrogation, claiming that no one else was present when Osung fell and insinuating that he might have jumped on his own. Although the detectives suspect their deception, they cannot extract a truthful testimony. Consequently, Soo Heon is released, but he chooses to drop out of school to embrace an uncertain future. On the other hand, Chan Mi graduates from high school and joins the Marine Corps as a non-commissioned officer. Despite taking different paths, Chan Mi and Soo Heon continue to support each other as partners.

In "Revenge of Others," the story revolves around two initial murder suspects, eventually revealing a different culprit. The plot successfully maintains the secrecy surrounding Jae Bom's secret without providing obvious clues. The well-written and portrayed characters, particularly Osung, convincingly display his confidence in refusing to commit crimes while also subtly pointing to his guilt. Although Osung did not directly kill Won Seok, he committed other crimes and manipulated Jae Bom without remorse.
