Review: The Night Manager

The Night Manager is one of the most recent and hyped series in India. It stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Anil Kapoor in lead roles. The other cast members include Sobhita, Tillotama, Rukhsar, Saswata Chatterjee, Ravi Behl and more. Have you watched it yet? Well, if not you can view it on Disney Plus Hotstar.

Initially, the makers released the first four episodes as Part I of the series and frankly speaking I didn't expect much from it as I found it a bit dull in the beginning. But as I holded on to the first episode and reached to the end, my perception completely changed as it opened up so many questions in my head. What excited me the most was watching Anil Kapoor as the villian. I was also very impressed by the performance of Tillotama.

The plot and storyline was going smoothly, hand in hand but at times I felt it a bit slow. The sexual tension between the characters of Aditya and Sobhita was also intense and much expected after they noticed each other. The series was full of twists and turns with secrets at each level. I enjoyed the suspense they maintained throughout the story with each character. Every person in the story had their own story to tell to the audience.

I really enjoyed the thrilling experience through the series. The stroy revolves around Shaan taking the revenge for the death of Safina. The whole journey is such super adventurous and exciting. I liked the suspense they kept for the character of Indradhanush who seemed to be the mastermind. Tillotama played the role of Lipika Siakia Rao who was investigating the case and sent Shaan as her agent to Shelly's kingdom and both of them together took him down. The series is directed by Sandeep Modi and Priyanka Ghose and I must say it was well executed. The series is produced The Ink Factory and Banijay Asia.

Talking about my personal favourite it would definately be the lead, Aditya of course, but Anil Kapoor was no less than him in showing off the charm. Sobhita looked sizzling hot throughout the series be it her expression or her costumes. I also enjoyed the character of BJ, he was the fun element in the thriller. The series also has the character Taha as the son of Kaveri and Shelly and I must say, I am impressed by his performance.

I would rate it a 4/5.
