Synopsis:  

Sanam Teri Kasam is a Bollywood romantic drama film released on 2016. It is written and directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru and produced by Deepak Mukut.

The film is a modern retelling of the stories of Shiva-Sati and the novel Love Story by Eric Segal. It depicts the story of a rough ex-convict, Inder, and a conventional librarian, Saru. Inder and Saru fall in love and marry, but a tragic event changes their lives forever. Inder and Saru fall in love and marry, but a tragedy alters their lives permanently. It earned over approximately ₹56 crore (US$6.7 million) globally, making it an above average success at the box office. The movie earned approximately ₹1.25 crore (US$150,000) on the day of is opening, ₹4.66 crore (US$560,000) over the weekend, and ₹18 crore (US$2.2 million) in its first week. The overseas market contributed around ₹16.03 crore (US$1.9 million) approximately to the total gross.
