Sanjay Gupta To Produce Baby AKA Shashikala Patankar Webseries

Sanjay Gupta is set to enter into producing web series by making a 10 episode show based on the life of milk vendor turned Drug Queen SHASHIKALA PATANKAR aka BABY.
To be helmed by SAMIT KAKKAD, The show will trace her journey to rise to power in a male dominated world, thereby controlling the biggest Narcotics Empire i India. The show is set on the backdrop of a manhunt that ended in 2015 after she surrendered and 120 Kilos of Mephedrone was found at her residence. It will also explore her infamous relationship with a cop which she used to her advantage to climb the ladder as well as how she dealt with existing drug lords who cut off her supplies and put them in their place.
Bhushan Kumar has also joined as co-producer and Sanjay as well as Samit are currently finalising writers to pen down the script for this series and are in talks with various platforms as well.
