Scam 1992 Trivia: How Did Harshad Mehta Really Die?

We all know about the AB of stock exchange right? Well, I am talking about Harshad Mehta. He pulled out a huge scam in 1992. If you haven't watched the series Scam 1992 yet, please do watch it as you can't miss this out. This was the biggest financial scam India ever faced. Today, we will be talking about how Harshad Mehta died. 

When Harshad Mehta was arrested for the scam he had various allegations on his name. He was charged with 72 criminal offenses and more than 600 civil lawsuits were filed against him and he was arrested by CBI. 

Mehta came as a stock market guru in the mid 90s and it wasn't until 1999 that he was caught and sentenced to five years of improsonment. He went through several trials for the case. He died out of a heart attack on 31 December, 2001. He was under Thane prison during his death. He was 47 years when he died. There are sseveral cases on him till now.
