Shah Rukh Khan And I Were Never Close Friends' Says Manoj Bajpayee!!

Before rising to prominence in Bollywood, Manoj Bajpayee and Shah Rukh Khan had acting training in New Delhi from acting teacher Barry John.

The actors Shah Rukh Khan and Manoj Bajpayee came from the same Delhi acting company, but as their careers developed, they gravitated towards quite different kinds of films. As Shah Rukh rose to prominence in Indian cinema history, Manoj excelled in off-beat roles and parallel cinema. He claimed that now that their worlds had separated so much, they hardly even cross paths.

Shah Rukh and Manoj used to go to clubs together, but the Gangs of Wasseypur actor wasn't let in because he wasn't wearing the appropriate shoes, as Manoj had previously related. Manoj played down their closeness even back then, calling that a "one-off incident."

When asked if the two actors still cross paths in an interview with Jist, Manoj responded, "Milna to nahi hota." Do alag alag duniya ke log hum ho chuke hai. To humare raastein nahi takrate. Uss samay bhi dosti aisi nahi thi, uska apna ek friend circle tha, mera apna ek friend circle tha.
Ek hi group mein the hum log, jab ek hi group mein kaam karte ho to sabke saath jaan pehchaan hoti hai, sabke saath uthna baithna hota hai, sabke saath khana hota hai.

The actor recounted the nightclub experience once more and stated that he found it to be humorous. Manoj said, “Wo ek kissa tha, bada funny kissa hai. But hum dono alag alag duniya mein rehte hai, alag alag choice rahe hai, uss hisaab se humne apni duniya ko chuna.

Following a string of lucrative theatrical productions, Manoj's career reached new heights when he started doing streaming projects. In addition to his recent roles in the movies Gulmohar and Sirf Ek Banda Kaafi Hai, he starred in the Prime Video series The Family Man. He also made an appearance in the Shah Rukh film Veer-Zaara a few years ago.

In response to a suggestion made during the interview that he's the Shah Rukh Khan of the streaming world, Manoj remarked, "No, don't give me all this." Give me meaningful roles. I am aware that media outlets use names to entice readers to click on their stories. However, the thing about monikers is that, while I may be the King of OTT one day, you can turn me into its Slave the next. That is not helpful to me. What helps is when I get good job.

The actor added, “As far as OTT ke king ki baat hai, main keh raha hun kisi aur actor ko de do. Mujhe chahiye hi nahi. I am just an actor, who is always trying to improve himself.

Manoj is slated to star in The Family Man 3 and was most recently seen in Joram. In addition, he appears in the Netflix original film Killer Soup, which launches this week.
