Mark your calendars: Shah Rukh Khan's much-awaited film "Jawan" gets a new release date and is set to hit theaters on September 7.

The much-anticipated release of Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film "Jawan", directed by Atlee and featuring Nayanthara in a significant role, has generated immense excitement among his fans. Following the historic success of "Pathaan", which holds the record as the highest-grossing Hindi film ever, anticipation for Khan's second release of 2023 is at an all-time high. Despite several changes to the film's release date, the makers have finally confirmed that "Jawan" will hit theaters in September this year.

Initially planned to release in theaters on June 2, 2023, "Jawan", a film led by Shah Rukh Khan, directed by Atlee Kumar, and featuring actors Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, and Deepika Padukone, among others, has been postponed to September 7 due to delays in post-production. Gauri Khan, the film's producer, posted a video on social media that provided a sneak peek of Shah Rukh's character from the film and announced the new release date.

Fans expressed their surprise and excitement within moments of Gauri Khan uploading the video, with many unable to contain their enthusiasm. One fan commented, "We have waited so long, a little more waiting won't hurt. Love you SRK!" while another exclaimed, "Get ready for another blockbuster!" In addition to being SRK's second release of the year, there is another reason for fans to be thrilled. As per a previous report by Pinkvilla, Sanjay Dutt will make an action-packed cameo in "Jawan", reuniting with SRK. The scene is expected to be a significant action sequence that plays a crucial role in the film's storyline.

In an earlier report, sources revealed that Shah Rukh Khan had informed Atlee about his decision to push the film's release date to September to maintain a suitable gap between "Jawan" and "Animal". "Animal", directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, features Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role.
