Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja welcomed their baby boy, Vayu earlier this year and since then Sonam has been on her maternity leave. The couple has not yet revealed the face of their baby but we see Anand sharing glimpses and his feelings on fatherhood on social media. 

The actress was asked whether filmmakers still reach out to her as often given she is spending time away from Mumbai, she replied, “It hasn’t affected work at all. It’s also because I decided to not work while I was pregnant. And I think it was the best decision as I got to take some time off. Now, I am getting back and I will be shooting for my films, and a few other things. Blind is releasing next month, which was shot just before I got pregnant. So there’s a lot to look forward to.”

But is she getting the kind of roles that she expects to receive? “I don’t know about that,” she laughed, to add, “I think everyone also needs to realise that I am coming back to work. Also, I did say no to a lot of work while I was on a break.”
