SRK-Atlee Project Update

Bollywood’s iconic and idol SRK was last seen in 2018 in Aanand Rai’s Zero. He is set to return in Rajkumar Hirani’s project and in Pathan along with Deepika Padukone, directed by Sidharth Anand. Apart from these fabulous projects, it seems that Tamil director Atlee Kumar’s first Bollywood project will star Shah Rukh Khan in it.

Affirming this statement, Shah Rukh Khan is going to make Atlee and his entire team fly to Mumbai in December, to lock the script and the cast of the film. In order to make the working easier, Atlee is going to set up his office in Mumbai. SRK and Atlee are expected to make the announcement with Karan Johar, who is the co-producer of the film.

Although the name of the movie has not been pulled out of the carpet yet, SRK is believed to play a double role in the film, of an investigating officer of a top Indian agency and a most-wanted criminal. The multiplicity of roles played by a single actor is a characteristic of Atlee’s films, as three out of four of his directorials are revolving around this motif.

SRK recently celebrated his 55th birthday in Dubai and was caught up in the Indian Premier League. Now, however, it seems that he is all geared up to be on-screen again.
