Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s team is currently facing a major crisis. And it is because its important actor Mayur Vakani who plays the character of Sunder Lal on the show has tested corona positive.  As all the TMKOC fans are aware Mayur is not a part of daily episodes and makes his appearance only in a few episodes every month as per the need of the story. 

For the last couple of weeks, the story of the show has been revolving around Bhogilal and his financial woes with Jethalal. The entire Gokuldham wasi have stood together to help Jethalal come out of this crisis. Incidentally, it is Sunder, the much-disliked brother-in-law of Jethaji who somehow helps in tracking the lies of Bhogilal.  As was required Mayur Vakani had to shoot with the entire TMKOC team back to back for weeks at a stretch for these episodes. Now that he has tested corona positive, the danger of the entire star cast also facing the same health crisis cannot be ruled out. 

Rather almost everyone from the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah came in contact with Mayur Vakani because the episodes featured almost everyone from the Tappu gang, Babitaji-Iyer to Madhavi-Bhide, Komal-Dr.Hathi, Roshan and Mehta family. As is required, now the entire team will have to undergo the corona test and if any of the actors tests positive, then the makers may think of taking a break from shooting the upcoming episodes for a brief period. 

It will be a big jolt to the fans of comedy shows who are always eagerly waiting to watch fresh episodes.
