Recently, Suresh Selvarajan—the art director who created the actual monster machine gun—Jitendra Bhosale—who portrayed Freddy's assistant in Animal—and Upendra Limaye—who played the role of Freddy in the movie—sat down with us for an exclusive conversation and revealed a few details from their time working on the movie.
Suresh Selvarajan was questioned about Ranbir Kapoor's response to viewing the machine gun during an interview. In response, he revealed the process of creating the terrifying machine gun, saying, "We started by creating a lifetime model out of wood because we are unable to make any changes to this ismein kuch correction nahin kar sakte. I have the liberty to create anything similar to that.
Directors and artists cannot be like accountants, who act without accounting for their work. What could have led to this outcome is the independence I gained from these two major productions. To be honest, I have no idea what the budget is for," said Suresh.
