Sonam Kapoor, renowned Bollywood actress and daughter of the iconic Anil Kapoor, recently spilled the beans on her father's lifestyle and the secrets behind his evergreen youthfulness. At the launch of Dr. Shiv K Saran's book, "Own Your Body: A Doctor's Life-saving Tips," Sonam shared insights into Anil Kapoor's habits that contribute to his fit and youthful appearance.

According to PTI, Sonam described her father as an 'extreme' when it comes to his lifestyle choices. Anil Kapoor is known for abstaining from alcohol and tobacco, as Sonam revealed, "My father is an extreme, he doesn't drink, smoke, or doesn't do anything."

Discussing the habits of her uncles, Boney Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor, Sonam added, "Boney chachu loves the good life, he loves to eat, and occasionally he likes to drink, and Sanjay chachu is a moderate one, in between. But they all are good-looking, healthy men."

Sonam Kapoor also credited her grandfather, Surinder Kapoor, for maintaining a youthful appearance until his passing. Despite his white hair, he maintained a timeless charm. However, Sonam attributed Anil Kapoor's young look primarily to her mother. She shared, "Honestly, since I remember, my mom started the first personal training gym in Mumbai. This was many, many years ago. So it is my mother who has been very, very healthy from the very beginning. Very health conscious. My dad would love to indulge sometimes, but my mother kind of controls him like a very good Indian wife."

The actress highlighted her mother's role in ensuring Anil Kapoor's well-being and credited her for instilling health-conscious habits in the family.

On the professional front, Anil Kapoor was recently seen in Siddharth Anand's action thriller "Fighter" alongside Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Karan Singh Grover. The film received critical acclaim and was a financial success. Meanwhile, Sonam Kapoor's latest appearance was in the 2023 thriller "Blind," where she portrayed a visually impaired character.
