Tiger 3 box office collection day 7: The film starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif collected Rs 17 crore on Saturday, bringing its total domestic income to Rs 217.90 crore.

Tiger 3, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, made a box office return over the weekend following a week-long downturn. According to first estimates from industry tracker Sachnilk, the film made Rs 17 crore on Saturday, bringing its domestic total to Rs 217.90 crore.

The film's greatest occupancy was seen during night screenings, hitting 30.82 percent, with an overall Hindi occupancy of 21.32 percent on Saturday. Tiger 3 has grossed a total of Rs 322 crore globally.

In the YRF Spy Universe, 'Tiger 3' follows 'Ek Tha Tiger,' 'Tiger Zinda Hai,' 'War,' and 'Pathaan'. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif reprise their roles as Avinash and Zoya, respectively, in the film. 'Tiger 3' is directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra. Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan make appearances in the flick.

Pritam composed the soundtrack, and Tanuj Tiku wrote the background score. According to reports, 'Tiger 3' had a projected budget of Rs 300 crore, making it Yash Raj Films' most costly movie.

The film, which also stars Katrina Kaif, debuted to a strong 44.45 crore, setting the tone for its early box office run. The second day witnessed a considerable increase, totaling 59.25 crore, showing a strong audience pull. The following days saw the typical ebb and flow of revenues, with a considerable drop by the fourth day, when it earned 21.1 crore.

Tiger 3 was released on a Sunday, which was unusual because it coincided with Diwali. It is typical for Bollywood films to be launched on Fridays. To serve the occasion, films are sometimes distributed a day in advance. Jawan, for example, was released on September 7, a Thursday that coincided with Janmashtami.

Another YRF film, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, was also released on an odd day. As Diwali happened on November 13, 2012, the SRK film was released on a Tuesday.
