10. Angarag Mahanta

Angarag Mahanta, popularly known as Papon, is an Indian singer, composer, and record producer hailing from Assam. He was born on 24 November 1975 in Nagaon, Assam. He is known for his unique fusion of Assamese folk music with contemporary pop and rock music. Papon started his music career as a composer in Bollywood films, but gained mainstream popularity with his debut album "Jonaki Raati" in 2004. He has also released several other albums such as "Junaki Raati" (2009), "Phool Gendwa Na Maaro" (2010), and "The Story So Far" (2012). Papon has won numerous awards for his contribution to the music industry, including the National Film Award for Best Music Direction for the film "Soundtrack" in 2012. He has also been a judge on popular singing reality shows such as "The Voice India Kids" and "The Voice India" and has mentored several aspiring singers. Apart from his music career, Papon is also involved in various philanthropic activities.
