This movie might seem like a complete rip off from Dead Poets Society. The students here are disciplined but blinded by academic pursuits. The school supervisor is a failed musician who had come to try his fortune as a school supervisor. The school is very strict with the action-reaction method. 

4. MOHABBATEIN (2004)

This is a Hindi movie equivalent to Dead Poets Society. The students are decent with a strict principal. And when the lead enters the story, his music inspires the students to come out of the rules and follow their hearts. Its not just a student-teacher movie but also has some great, sweet love stories. 

5. MONA LISA SMILE (2003)

It is a story of a free spirited, non-conforming professor. Se joined the college to make a diffrence and not fit in. She was not okay with how the institute worked and feklt like they were training little girls to be good wives. I could call this movie the female version of Dead Poets Society. She gets out of the rules and tells per students that some non-confirming thing are okay. 

6. MR. HOLLAND’S OPUS (1995)

This is the story of a man to wants to pursue his dreams along with making a steady income. For this, he starts teaching. The principal branded him as a student as he used to rudhh to the parking lot as soon as the last bell rung. He just did the teacher job to make money. Soon he realises that he was wrong and then he devotes himself for the betterment of his students. 
 

7. ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST (1975)

This story doesn't involve a teacher but a man who goes against the rules. The thing which made me add this movie to this list is the ned of the film. The audience will get to watch the impact of positivity and how a spark can get everyone free.
