Prajapati abandons Ana and Romi?

Ana had always told Romi that he should be a decent boy, which essentially meant that he should not be violent. Perhaps her ex-husband was a violent man, which is why she divorced him and didn't want a trace of his aggression in Romi. She had no idea that this advice was bad for Romi because he was being bullied at school by a group of his peers. He wasn't fighting back since he had promised Ana not to.

When Prajapati returned from the football game, he noticed bruises on Romi's body and taught him combat moves to use against the bullies the next day. Ana learned about Romi's school violence and assumed it was the result of Prajapati's incitement. He challenged him and referred to him as a goon. Ana had to understand that Prajapati was an honourable man who recognised that standing up for oneself in a battle was not violence. Ana apologised to Prajapati, who understood her situation.

Ana and Prajapati had completely forgotten that this was only a temporary arrangement. Ana's parents, who were enraged by the ludicrous roleplay, pounded this realisation into their heads. Prajapati, too, saw the suffering he was causing Romi. Romi would be distraught if he had to leave one day. 

Her heart was broken since she was unable to express her actual feelings. Prajapati remembered Romi's annual concert and showed up at his school to bolster his confidence. Ana and Prajapati reconnected and finally expressed their genuine sentiments. Romi and Ana's'rented' Prajapati was now a permanent member of their family. While Ana had nurtured him well, it was Prajapati who provided Romi with the affection of a father that had been lacking in his childhood. Prajapati was a decent guy in his own right, and despite his quirks, he was a role model for Romi to look up to. Ana, too, discovered a loving and caring companion who was as clever as she was, and that, too, came through the "Trial Period"!
