MUMBAI:Before a movie gets released, it goes through a lot of stages such as pre-production, production, post-production, trailer launch, marketing, and a lot more. But, the most important step is releasing a movie at the right time. Well, many times it happens that due to several reasons the release dates of the films keep on getting postponed.
So, today, let’s look at the list of films whose release dates have been postponed several times…
Brahmastra
Brahmastra’s which was released on 9th September 2022 was no less than a miracle. The movie was in the making for five years, even though the movie got delayed by two years because of the COVID. It was first supposed to release on August 2019, then Christmas 2019, later in Summer 2020, and then in December 2020. But, it never got released on any of these dates.
Adipurush
Adipurush, starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, was scheduled to be released in August 2022. However, it was postponed until January 2023. It was pushed again, and it is now scheduled to release the movie on June 16, 2023.
Maidaan
Maidaan, featuring Ajay Devgn, was also delayed due to the pandemic, but the release date has been pushed numerous times since then. The film was initially scheduled to be released in December 2020, then in Oct. 2021, and finally in June 2022. The makers later decided to release it on February 17th this year, but it was post6 to May 12th, 2022, and now, according to reports, it will be released on June 23rd, 2022.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor was initially set to release on Holi 2022, but was postponed to January 2023. And then finally, the makers decided to release it on Holi 2023. Ranbir Kapoor’s movies surely have multiple delays.
Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani
Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani featuring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan was set to release on 10th Feb 2023, but it was delayed to 28th April 2023. And now, it is going to release on 28th July 2023.
