Vijay Sethupathi V Madhavan On October 2nd

The Super Deluxe actor who has proved that he can pull off any role comfortably is racing for a movie release exactly on the day of release of another movie starring Madhavan (Maddy). If the pandemic wouldn’t have been there there would have been a tough competition between the two heroes at the box office.

Amidst the pandemic, in place, there is no scope for the theatrical screening of movies now. With OTT being the only option left for films to stream and reach to the masses. The filmmakers are planning for a low-budget and maximum outcome methodology to gain profits and win the hearts of audiences.

These superheros of Tamil industry are also on the same lane who have a vast fan base are now getting ready to face each other for a OTT release on 2 October. 

Nishabdam on Amazon Prime

Madhavan and Anushka Shetty’s much-awaited movie, Nishabdam is all set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 2nd. Like many other movies, Nishabdham couldn’t see the light of the theatres due to the ongoing COVID pandemic. Nishabdham was dated to hit the screens in the month of April. Now, the makers have announced that the film will release in three languages – Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam on Amazon Prime Video.

The director of the movie Hemant Madhukar said, “We have been waiting for the right opportunity to bring to audiences this ambitious story starring some of the best Indian talents.”

He also added, “The movie was shot in parallel in both Telugu and Tamil with a global release on Amazon Prime Video across 200 countries and territories, we are happy to take the film to audiences’ world over.”

Ka Pe Ranasingam on Zee Flex

Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajesh, starrer Ka Pe Ranasingam will stream on OTT platform Zee Plex, a pay-per-view initiative by ZEE.

The movie has also given space for Yogi Babu, Samuthirakani, Vela Ramamoorthy, and Poo Ram in prominent roles. The film is directed by P Virumandi and is said to be based on real-life events. Ka Pe Ranasingam is all set to be released in five Indian languages and will be subtitled in 10 international languages..

This movie marks the sixth collaboration of the duo, the movie is about the plight of farmers in a village who stand against industrialization.

The films they worked together are Rummy (2014), Pannaiyarum Padminiyum (2014), Dharma Durai (2016), Idam Porul Eval (2018), and Chekka Chivantha Vaanam (2018).

Vijay Sethupathi movies are lined to follow one after the other. He is awaited for the movie Master starring Vijay in which he played the main Antagonist. The other films are Kadaisi Vivasayi, Maa Manithan, and Laabam, etc. Whereas, the Alaipayuthey fame (Maddy) upcoming movies is Rocketry: The Nambi Effect.
