What Mohil Ahlawat Said About Salman Khan, RGV, Sunny Leone and Bollywood

Mohit Ahlawat was Ram Gopal Varma's blue-eyed boy years ago when he made his debut in 'James' alongside Nisha Kothari. This was the time when all of RGV's movies were flopping one by one yet he never stopped making movies. He has taken a break from Bollywood and made Hyderabad his home where he has been directing Telugu films. Mohi made his comeback alongside Sunny Leone in 'Ek Peheli Leela'. Read on to know the interesting things that happened with Mohit.

Mohit on RGV

I have always been impressed with RGV's work and wanted to start with him. I went to meet him and showed him my pictures, he said, 'We will do something.' And he lauched me in James. He is a very intelligent man and my mentor. He is egoistic but has a very good heart. He thinks for others but sometimes his ego is so big that he doesn't understand anything. His brain only thinks of cinema and works all the time. I used to respect him a lot and did two films with him. But after that, he wanted to do Amitji's role in Sholay in his version of the film and I wasn't happy with the film. He didn't take it well and I left him.

Mohit on Working with Sunny Leone

She is a nice person, hard working and very professional. I didn't know that she was a porn star before. I assumed that she was a model from Playboy or something like that.

Mohit on his Father

My father was the only one who took care of me and I realized his value when I was being treated. He stopped working and only focused on me getting cured. He just wants me to concentrate on work now, not get into bad company and not allow people to use me. He wants me to be safe and have a good living.

Mohit in Getting Inspired by Salman

I still remember I went to Somi Ali's birthday party at Piano Bar with Kishen. There was this song 'Oh Oh Jaane Jana' playing when I saw Salman. I was 120 kgs that time and decided that I wanted to be like Salman.

Mohit on Doing Drugs

I went into drugs because of bad marriage and professional failure. I spent a few years in New York in a rehab. Consuming drugs is a diseases. But today, I eat healthy, am fit and don't do drugs.
