What Rishab Shetty Said About Kantara's Budget & Collection

 

Rishab Shetty, a Kannada actor-director enjoying the success of his most recent movie 'Kantara', has refuted the allegation that it was a low-budget film. During a recent interview, Rishab spoke about the film's budget and stated that 'The budget of my last film was only 10 percent of Kantara's budget, so it definitely is a big-budget film for me', according to Track Tollywood.

'Kantara', which premiered in cinemas on September 30th, had a reported production budget of ₹16 crore, yet it managed to generate an impressive gross collection of Rs 400 crore at the box office. The Kannada movie was dubbed into a number of languages such as Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.

The audience and critics have highly appreciated 'Kantara', with Bollywood stars such as Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan expressing their admiration for the film. Kamal Haasan, a renowned actor, recently praised 'Kantara' in an interview and proclaimed it had an astounding effect on him. Rishab Shetty thanked him through a post on Instagram.
