When Abhishek's Alleged GF Threatened To Commit Suicide

In 2007, when Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai announced their marriage, they broke everyone’s hearts. The announcement of their marriage made every lover go haywire and do something crazy. However, there was one of the crazy thing that was done by one crazy fan that day which is beyond your imagination.

On the day the couple announced their marriage, a 26-year old item girl, Janhvi Kapoor who had tried to commit suicide in front of Prateeksha, the Bachchan family’s Juhu residence. For this, she was taken to city court under Section 309 of the Indian Penal Code and she was released on the bail of Rs 10,000.

Kapoor has claimed that she is had met Abhishek Bachchan on the set of ‘Duss’, wherein the actor had promised to marry her. As she stood inebriated in front of Prateeksha, she screamed, ‘How could Abhishek betray me? I do not want to live anymore.’

While she was taken to the police station, she said, ‘Abhishek and I were regularly in touch via e-mail. We had grown close and he had promised to marry me. Now he is marrying Aishwarya.’

Next, there were cuts found in her hand, because of which she was taken to a private clinic. The senior police inspector of Juhu police station, Pradeep Shinde had said, ‘The cuts were made with a shaving blade. The cuts were not deep or life-threatening.’

The inspector also claims that apart from being drunk on liquour, she was also under the influence of drugs. Moreover, he mentions that it was a completely publicity stunt. 

Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai have been married for 13 years since that incident and they also have a daughter Aradhya Bachchan. Abhishek Bachchan will be featured in 'The Big Bull'.
