Today, we're going to take you back to the time when Salman Khan purposefully avoided the actor at a presentation for an award after rumors of their purported romance surfaced. In case you didn't know, Malaika was married to the superstar's older brother, actor Arbaaz Khan, and is therefore his former sister-in-law. 

As reported by India Forums, Salman Khan allegedly blamed Arjun Kapoor for his brother Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora's breakup in the past and purposefully ignored him at an awards ceremony in 2017.

When Salman Khan reportedly arrived at the event, he reportedly inquired about Arjun Kapoor's performance and gave explicit instructions to the event staff that he didn't want to be present when the Gunday actor performed. He instructed the group not to summon him to the stage either before or after Kapoor performed.

Before Arjun's performance, the Bharat actor fled the location, which at the time received extensive media coverage.

But now Arjun and Malaika frequently post and share anecdotes about one another on social media. Their admirers are now impatiently awaiting the couple's nuptials.
