When Virat Kohli & Anushka Sharma Toured NZ in a 125cr Private Jet!

We all know Anushka Sharma has accompanied her husband Virat Kohli during his ongoing cricket tour to Australia and New Zealand. The couple hardly gets any time to spend with each other, especially with their profession and busy schedules. So as soon as they get some free time, they jet off.

And that’s what they did a couple of days back. After India’s victory over New Zealand in the 3rd One Day International, Virat and Anushka flew from Queenstown to Napier. Virat even posted a picture of the private jet they were taking and it was surely a beauty! But did you know how much that luxurious private jet is worth? It is a whopping Rs 125 crore!

Virat hired this Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign Jet in New Zealand. The luxurious, high-performance, mid-size business jet was recently procured by a private company. The latest variant of this private jet is worth $18 million, which is more than Rs 125 crore, according to the current exchange rate. The twin turbofan jet has a capacity of seating nine people and the crew includes just the two pilots. From what we hear, the couple has hired it to ferry them to and from within New Zealand. And the rent is anywhere around $3000 – $5000 per flight hour. So their two-hour flight a couple of days back must have cost them around $10000 maximum, which is around Rs 7.5 lakh. Can you even imagine it? 

From what we hear, the jet has a really cool interior, with comfy seats and state of the art systems. So surely Anushka and Virat love travelling comfortable. In fact, they chose to wear comfortable clothes too. Their vacay in Napier looks beautiful and we wish to see more pictures of these two.
