Best Way to Perform Parvatasana- The Mountain Pose

The steps to perform Parvatasana are:

Classical Pose: We have to sit keeping the hands on their respective sides, throwing the chest forward, keeping the neck straight, the abdomen in normal contour and our eyes should be focused on a single point straight ahead.

The sequence of steps are:

  1. We have to start inhaling for 3 seconds, raising both our arms together from their respective sides.
  2. Then we have to join our palms to each other in the upward stretched position of arms.
  3. Maintain the fully stretched position for 6 seconds.
  4. Then return to starting position and exhale in 3 seconds.

The benefits of Parvatasana are:
