Why “Turning Red” Is Debated Around The World?

This past week, Pixar released its newest movie, ‘Turning Red, casting Chiang, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Sandra Oh, Addie Chandler, and Ava Morse, which received mixed reviews from the audience.

To be more precise, the movie is about a 13-year-old toddler, Meilin trying to please her mom, battling bullies, and hanging out with her friends. However, her puberty worsens as she begins to turn into a giant red panda whenever she is high on emotions.

Many enjoyed the movie and quoted puberty and the awkwardness the children go through should be discussed more and put into movies to expand more awareness.

While the other group confessed that the movie is too mature for children’s viewers. The kissing scenes in the movie are said to be explicit and were discussed as the worst kissing scene found in Disney movies ever. reviewers claimed that the film was not made for a "universal audience.'

CinemaBlend Managing Editor Sean O'Connell wrote in his review that he had a tough time connecting with the storylines in the film surrounding the lead's character problems she faces as a teenage kid going through puberty. He also added that he recognized the humor but connected none of it.
