Facts About Mathematics Genius Srinivasa Ramanujan

Today we will be discussing about one of the greatest mathematicians, Srinivasa Ramanujan, and his contribution to mathematics.

Srinivasa Ramanujan was born in Tamilnadu in 1887 on December 22. From a very young age, he was very good at math. He started creating his own theories. In 1911 he published his first paper. The field of number theory in math was enriched by his contribution and hard work. In 1918 he was included as a Fellow of the Royal Society 9a fellowship of the world's most respected and famous scientists. Ramanujan was the second Indian who got that title.

One of his greatest inventions is the pi. He was not a trained mathameticition but surprisingly his knowledge of mathematics can beat many legends. Do you know 1729 is known as the Ramanujan number? This is the sum of two cubes of two numbers 10 and 9. There are so many other notable contributions of Srinivasa Ramanujan like the hypergeometric series, the Riemann series, the elliptic integrals, etc.

This great person left the world at the age of 32 in 1920, 22 December. Every year, his birth anniversary on 22 December is celebrated as National Mathematics Day. He left us very soon. But in that small time, he had given us a lot that continues to inspire mathematicians to this day.
