KL Rahul is a popular Indian cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and an occasional wicket-keeper. Also, he has been the captain of  Lucknow Super Giants in IPL. He was born in 1992 to Dr. K. N. Lokesh and his wife Rajeshwari Lokesh in Bengaluru, Karnataka. He also has an elder sister named KL Bhavana, who is married.  His father is a former professor & director at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal and his mother, is a history professor at Mangalore University. 

KL Rahul made his Test debut on 26 December 2014 against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. He made only 3 runs in the first innings and only 1 run in the second innings of his debut test match.He made his One Day International debut (ODI) on 11 June 2016 against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club. He batted as an opener and scored an unbeaten 100*(115), thus becoming the first Indian cricketer to score a century on ODI debut. In his 20th international innings, he scored his maiden T20I century against West Indies and became the fastest player to score centuries in all three formats in international cricket, surpassing the record of Pakistan's Ahmed Shehzad who took 76 innings. In the same innings, he became the first player in T20I history to score a century while batting at number 4 position or lower and also became the only player to reach his century with a six in all formats. 

KL Rahul got married to actress Athiya Shetty in a private wedding ceremony on 22nd January 2023 at Suniel Shetty's farmhouse in Khandala near Mumbai. They make a great pair. Both of them are doing good in their career.
