Do you know that Thalapathy Vijay demanded a high fee to play the lead role in Varisu? As he stars in his 66th movie, which is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and supported by Dil Raju and PVP Cinema, Vijay reportedly charged an extravagant fee. Key roles in Varisu are also played by Rashmika Mandanna, Jayasudha, Prakash Raj, and others.

Pinkvilla reported that Thalapathy Vijay received around 150 crore from the producers for Varisu. You did indeed hear correctly! Vijay's fees for the Vamshi directed film are 25 times higher than those of his co-star Rashmika Mandanna, but they are also higher than many Bollywood and South biggies. According to a report in FlickonClick, Pushpa 2 actress charged a large sum and received a sizable check for 4 crores after Vijay.

Rashmika Mandanna received 4 crore for Varisu, while Thalapathy Vijay received 150 crores, making the pair the highest-paid Indian actors and actresses in Kollywood, respectively. Woah! Very intriguing.
