The filming of Samantha Ruth Prabhu's next Telugu love drama Kushi, in which Vijay Deverakonda also comes up, is about to get back up. According to reports, the actress will be back to filming in March. Reports state that the actress will begin filming alongside Vijay on the Kushi set in the second week of March.

According to rumours, the new timetable will start in Hyderabad, and key portions starring the principal actors would be cut. Samantha disclosed she has a rare auto-immune ailment called myositis, which caused the shoot to halt after the first schedule of the movie was finished in Kashmir. 

The Kushi shoot was put on hold while she was receiving medical treatment, although she was finishing up her other commitments, such as Yashoda promotions and Shakuntalam dubbing. However, the actress is now prepared to return, and their on-screen chemistry has become a hot topic.

The actress apologized to Vijay Deverakonda's followers on Twitter last month for Kushi's tardiness. Samantha commented, "#Kushi will resume very soon.. my apologies to @TheDeverakonda supporters @ShivaNirvana @MythriOfficial," in response to a fan who inquired about the Kushi update. We all await your return in good health and your big smile, Vijay Deverakonda wrote in response to the actress' post, adding a heart emoji.

The second movie after Mahanati in which Samantha and Vijay are partnered opposite one another is Kushi, which was directed by Shiva Nirvana. In supporting roles, the film also stars Srikanth Iyengar, Ali, Rohini, Ali, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma Lakshmi, Vennela Kishore, and Rahul Ramakrishna.

In May of last year, the producers released the title poster and song from the BTS video for the Kashmir schedule, and people responded favourably to the actors' chemistry. The movie's release was originally scheduled for December 2022, however, it was postponed. The creators have not yet provided an official release date.
