Facts About Comedian Brahmanandam's Family

Brahmanandam is one of the best comedians and actor in the Telugu film industry who has been dominating the hearts of film lovers for the past few decades. The actor was born on 1st February 1956 in Sattenapalli, Andhra Pradesh. But initially he wasn't an actor straight away, firstly he started his career as a teacher and became a Telugu lecturer in Attili Andhra Pradesh. After that he went to act in more than 1000 films and his journey started from the film Chantabbai. Over the years he received many awards for his outstanding performance as an actor. He also received the Padma Shri Award from the Indian government and his name even entered the Guinness World Record Book.

Career

Brahmanandam did his high school at DNR College, Bhimavaram and University PG Center, Guntur. He also holds a Postgraduate degree in Telugu literature from Andhra University. During his school days he used to participate in cultural activities as a mimicry artist and won many awards. After graduating from his masters Brahmanandam worked as a Telugu language teacher in Atthilli for about ten years, where there he imitated his colleagues.

The actor was born and raised in the family of Chaganti Vari Palem Sattenapalli Andhra Pradesh. He is the 7th son of Kannaganti Lakshmi Narsamma and Kanneganti Nagalingachari. His family was so supportive and helped him in all the aspects related to his personal and professional life.

Brahmanandam Wife and Kids

Brahmanandam is married to Lakshmi Kanneganti and the couple are blessed with two sons named Raja Goutham Kanneganti and Sid Kanneganti. Both of his sons are also following the footsteps of their beloved father in the film industry. While Raja Goutham made his film debut with Pallakilo Pellikuthuru in 2004 opposite Rathi, Giri Babu etc. Another son Goutham is married to Jyothsna, daughter of cinematographer Srinivas Reddy on 24th October 2012.
