Interesting Facts About Merin Philip

Merin Philip is a popular actress from the Malayalam film industry. She started her acting career with the film titled Poomaram directed by Abrid Shine. Born to Philip c Mathew, an engineer and Daisy Philip in Pathanamthitta region of Kollam district. She has an elder brother - Melvyn Philip Mathew. 

 

She is known for the movies Poomaram and Happy Sardar. The actress is about 165 Cm approximately in height and weighs around 60kgs. Her eye colour is black and her hair color is also black. 

Merin Philip could achieve good heights in the field of drama by Biju kizhakkanela as he brought her forward. She started doing drama only when she was just 14 years. In 2016, she gave an audition for Poomaram and finally she got selected to do a supporting role in Malayalam film Poomarammerin as a Friend of Irene.

Later on, in the year 2018, she gave an audition for Happy Sardar and got a main lead to play and prove herself. If we talk about her achievements, she has won Kadhaprasangam 2nd prize kerala university Youth Festival 2016. After that she won Kadhaprasangam 1st prize kerala university Youth Festival 2017. Not stopping with that she also bagged a medal for best actor at Mar baselios college Trivandrum.
