A fresh poster of the upcoming movie Adipurush, starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, was unveiled by the filmmakers on Thursday morning. Om Raut, the director, shared the poster on his Instagram handle with a caption that reads, "Your name exceeds even the mantras, Jai Shri Ram."

After the release of the Adipurush movie poster, netizens expressed mixed reactions. While some criticized the poster's quality, others praised it for its realism and the anticipation it created. One user criticized the use of motion capture and the subpar depiction of the characters, hoping that the movie would make up for it. Another user questioned the absence of the sindoor on Sita's forehead, while a third person asked for the release of the teaser to get a better sense of the film's quality.

The film was originally scheduled for release on January 12 but was postponed due to VFX rework. The initial teaser received mixed-to-negative reactions, with many viewers expressing disappointment with the visuals and character depictions. As a result, the release date was pushed back to June 16, 2023. Despite this, director Om Raut assured fans that the film will not disappoint and that they are taking feedback into consideration.

In an interview with News 18, Raut encouraged fans to have faith in the film and the makers behind it, assuring them that they are listening to their feedback. He pledged that the film will be a representation of their beliefs and values and that they will strive to meet fans' expectations.

After Adipurush, Prabhas will appear in Prashanth Neel's action-packed Salaar in September and then in Nag Ashwin's Project K, which also features Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan. After Project K, Prabhas will appear in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit.
