The director Sukumar is set to helm the sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule, which is expected to have a much grander scale than its predecessor. The production company, Mythri Movie Makers, will be backing this high-budgeted action flick which will feature a larger cast lineup that will be revealed soon. Apart from Rashmika Mandanna and Fahad Faasil, who will reprise their roles from the first installment, the rest of the ensemble cast has not been disclosed yet. Although there are rumors about Sai Pallavi's involvement, no official confirmation has been made. Miroslaw Kuba Brozek will be handling the cinematography while Devi Sree Prasad will compose the score for the film. Pushpa 2: The Rule is scheduled to release later this year.
