When Rashmika Mandanna Spoke About Her Feelings For Vijay Deverakonda

She already had a shady past with Rakshit Shetty even after her warm engagement. It might be a part of broken serial cheating or unwilling behavior.

But a while later, the actress had found a perfect shade in her Geetha Govindam co-star Vijay Deverakonda. As a sequence they even acted again in Dear Comrade which made them much more magnetized. She also stated that they were just friends when they were on sets for Geetha Govindam and things changed when they worked together in Dear Comrade. The actress felt he was special from then.
According to an interview with the International Business Times, the kirak party actress has stated that Vijay Deverakonda was the one who had supported her to get over Rakshit Shetty (her ex-boyfriend).

"I was recovering from my break-up with Rakshit Shetty. I needed comfort and care which I found in Devarakonda. I was struggling to cope up with my emotions and it was him who lifted my spirits. He was the one who made me understand that there was a different world outside, waiting for me to embrace."
After confessing her feelings Vijay felt incomfort initially but had special feelings for Rashmika. "He isn't an insecure person like my ex-boyfriend Rakshit Shetty nor suggests that I sacrifice my career. He is a free-minded person and wants me to be independent, the Mission Mangal actress added.
