Why Rajinikanth Is Considered As God Of Indian Cinema

Superstar Rajinikanth is way more than just a regular actor, he is almost considered as a god down south, especially for his vast fan following. The actor who is 70 is still active in the films and each time an update shows-up about his new film. Fans get excited and await its release and ensure that it is a blockbuster, irrespective of the flaws. If you had Rajinikanth name embedded in your cast then the movie is a blockbuster. Not only that, despite being the biggest superstar in India he never flaunted his stardom. His humble and heavy hearted nature towards his fans and people proves why he is considered a demi-god.

  1. Bollywood King Shahrukh Khan is also a huge admirer of Rajinikanth. Those who watched Chennai Express will definitely know how Shahrukh expressed his tribute to Thalaiva in a song in the film.

  2. Thaliva is marked as the first Indian hero to have worked using different camera technologies like white, 3D, black and motion pictures.

  3. After acting in a masterpiece like Shivaji the Boss in 2007. Rajinikanth's fee of 26 crores made him one of the Highest paid Asian actors following Jackie Chan.

  4. On 5th may 2014, Thaliva created a Twitter account and in a very less time on the first day of his activation. He got over 2.5 lakh followers, which any Indian actor didn't achieve.

  5. Rajinikanth also got a chance to work with Natsamrat Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao widely known as (Sr NTR) for his 50th film Tiger.

  6. Kamala Hassan and Rajinikanth are tremendous actors in South India and Amitabh Bachchan enjoys stardom in Bollywood. These three iconic stars were seen sharing the screen for a film titled Geraftaar.

  7. Enthiran is the only tamil film to make it to the IMDB's top 50 films around the world in 2010. To our surprise the film was also included as a case study in IIM-A postgraduate elective course, Contemporary Film Industry: Business Perspective.

  8. Fan groups celebrate the superstar's birthday in a special way. When three of his die hard fans were returning from his birthday celebration 23 years ago, they died in a road accident. From then Rajini celebrates his b-day outside the city.

  9. Age difference isn't a norm to him as he looks fit and fine opposite any Heroine. For instance, Rajinikanth was 57 when he was doing Shivaji, whereas Sriya Saran was just 27 year old but they mesmerised the audience by their on-screen romance.
